Let’s be honest. Gym fail videos are funny and painful to watch; however, there is a good lesson to be learned.  Here are 3 things you shouldn’t do while lifting weights that will reduce the likelihood of ended up in the next gym fail video

  1. Never EGO lift – Working out is about getting into shape. There is no need to try to impress anyone.
  2. Use a spotter –  Making new friends a the gym is easy. Most of us have the same goal. When in doubt get a spotter.
  3. Use good form – It’s much more effective to lift a lower weight with good form that the strain to lift more than you can handle at bad form.
